There are so many sweet glorious victories that allow me to put my head on my pillow at night — justices that let me know I’m on the right path.
But my career was not always a righteous one.
After graduating from Texas Tech University first with a Bachelor’s degree in finance, and then with an honors degree from the Texas Tech law school, I felt on top of the world.
So when a big-time defense law firm offered me a job, I jumped at the chance.
My job was to make sure the manufacturing companies we worked with paid as little as possible to the people injured in the injury and wrongful death cases that came our way.
I was good at my job and a hard worker, but I got tired of seeing the little guy get victimized by Goliath day in and day out.
I knew what strength was — and this wasn’t it.
I wanted to be a David.
I remember going down the elevator from that ivory tower for the last time, knowing I would never be back, and with only one case lined up for my new law firm.
I was scared, sure, but I knew I was doing the right thing.
I knew I wanted to bring about positive change and prevent injury and harm — not keep the same system in place that allowed it to happen.
That’s why I bend over backward to make sure my firm does whatever we need to go the extra mile for our clients.
If you’re in need of a skilled personal injury attorney, look no further than Stewart Law Firm, PLLC today. We’re available 24/7 and ready to hear from you.
I don’t need to rip the jugular in a deposition to get what I need for my client. I can flay people without them knowing it, and they’ll smile and thank me after.
And I get giddy thinking about the good we can do for our clients, and the harm we can prevent from happening to other people down the road.
I’m in the business of holding people accountable so that we can have a world where we don’t see this type of negligence happen anymore.
But until that happens, I have the honor of working with some of the kindest people in the world, getting them the justice they deserve.
And that’s mighty amazing.
