The team at Stewart Law Firm, PLLC is proud to announce that we will be hosting the 18th annual 2015 Jingle Bell 5K run, taking place at Austin’s Camp Mabry on December 13, 2015.
The Austin Jingle Bell 5K is a fantastic family-oriented activity that all are invited to attend. Participants may either join the 5K Run/Walk, which begins at 8:30 a.m., or the Kids 1K Fun Run, which will begin at 8:00 a.m. Each participant will be given their own fun set of jingle bells to wear during the event and will even have a chance to meet Santa! Awards will be given to the top three participants in each of seven age categories. The first 750 participants will also receive a commemorative t-shirt. Rain or shine, this event is sure to be a blast!
Whether you decide to walk or run, your support will benefit Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), a cause dedicated to fighting drunk driving, supporting drunk driving victims, and preventing underage drinking. Founded in 1980 by a mother who lost her daughter to drunk driving, MADD now serves one person every 8.6 minutes through local advocacy as well as their help hotline (1-877-MADD-HELP).
Adult registration for the Run/Walk event is $35 until December 6 and $40 through December 10. Youth ticket prices (17 and under only) are $20 until December 12. Kids tickets for the 1K Fun Run (age 12 and under) are $10.
